The Ute Golf Team locked up first place in Region 10 last week with a come from behind charge led by Seniors Ethan Young, Kamon Elison, Trae Ellison and Trey Briggs. All four Utes finished in the top 12 and cal look forward to the State Tournament in early October.

The Lady Ute Volleyball team hosted Tooele Tuesday beating the Buffaloes three sets to one, the traveled to Stansbury to beat the Lady Stallions in straight set 3-0.
They host Ogden Tuesday, then travel to Ben Lomond Thursday.

The Lady Ute Soccer team hosted the Tooele Buffaloes last Wednesday, McKenzie White scored two goals with Josslyn Spencer adding another while Lakyn Hansen kept the Buffaloes out of the net in the 3-0 Ute victory.
They're at Stansbury Monday and host Cedar Valley Wednesday.

The Lady Ute Tennis team headed to Juan Diego last Thursday, once again, the Ute doubles teams put in stellar performances as the doubles teams of Ella Wright and Kacee Bennion, Sadie Abrams and McKinnely Mull and Jaylee Morrell and Emberli Fairey all won their matches in the three match to three match tie with the Soaring Eagles. 
They head to the Region 10 tournament on September 30th and October 1st

The Uintah High Football team hosted the Cedar Valley Aviators last Friday. Dustin Rhoades scored on a 4 yard touchdown run and Nate Lamb caught a 52 yard touchdown pass, but it wasn't enough in the 42-13 loss to the Aviators.

The Union Cougar Football team headed south last Friday to visit the Grand Red Devils. The Cougars put 14 points on the board in the first quarter, then dominated the second quarter adding 28 more points, then easily finished out the game with a 58-27 victory.  Boone Latham ran for three touchdowns and connected with Jory Jenkins for two more in the victory.

They travel to Emery this Friday to take on the Spartans
